Note from the artist: This ink and watercolor rendition of an ill-considered stroll through the woods on All Hallow's Eve was inspired by my own fondness for children's ghost stories and book illustrations. Of course, the piece wouldn't be complete without a couple of rather startled Scotties accompanying their young boy! I've never yet met a Scottie who appreciated the parade of ghouls, ghosts and goblins who ring the doorbell every October 31st... not to mention the black cats!
