Getting to like you...

If Luke was a mistake, he's turned into a mistake that we can live with. He has a generous and loving nature, bestowing liberal kisses at the first sign of encouragement, and is very protective of his home. He's also very bright, very attentive, and eager to please. We still have some rough days, but the worst of our mutual adjustments are over, new habits are forming, and maturity should help settle him even more. Wish us all luck!

Fall Update: Bonnie and Luke -- aka Mr. Destructo -- go on an adventure.

Winter 2001 Update: We wouldn't trade Luke for any other dog! Ironically, we now have a large house with a backyard for Luke to romp in, but he hates to leave our company. When he's thrown outside he'll quickly take care of business then stand on the back porch with his nose pressed against the door until we let him back inside to be with his pack. Fortunately, he's turned out to be a great walking companion for Carmen, who now gets some much needed exercise by walking Luke through the neighborhood during the evening.
