Kate's household had been without a Scottie since last September... a woeful situation that simply could not be tolerated for much longer. Fortunately, a chance meeting at the 2001 Wee Scots convention led to the adoption of young Kirmse.

So Kate has a new Scottie model! You can't ask for better inspiration for an artist than this feisty puppy.
